NBA Showdown optimizer features
- Every NBA Showdown slate, loaded automatically. Single-game slates appear with official DraftKings salaries and player IDs, and injuries and props refresh through the day.
- Projections from sportsbook player props. Points, rebounds, assists and other props are converted to DraftKings scoring, with ceiling and Captain projections. Edit any projection and rebuild.
- Starting-lineup tags and recent minutes. Expected starters are tagged and updated as lineups are confirmed before tip, with each player's recent minutes beside him.
- Captain Mode rules built in. Captain at 1.5x salary and points plus 5 UTIL under the $50,000 cap. Set a Captain mix by guard, forward and center, and add Captain teammate rules.
- Game simulator. Correlated simulations across scripts such as a fast pace, a slow grind or a blowout, where starters sit late. Every lineup gets a top-1% rate and ceiling.
- Ownership and leverage. Projected UTIL and Captain ownership, Optimal % and leverage, so you can see who the field is underplaying.
- Backtests and exports. Score your settings against real past contests, copy what the top 1% did, and export upload-ready DraftKings CSVs or the full player pool.

NBA Showdown strategy for large-field GPPs
- Late news matters most in NBA. Re-run the optimizer after starting lineups are confirmed.
- Minutes drive NBA scoring. Compare recent minutes with each player's projection before you lock him.
- Blowouts cut starters' minutes. Include some builds that hold up if the game gets out of hand.
- Use Captain leverage to find strong Captains with lower projected ownership.
