About Showdown Edge
Showdown Edge is a DraftKings Showdown optimizer and simulator built by a DFS player who plays large-field GPP tournaments.
Showdown contests come down to six roster spots and one Captain. In a large field, the lineup that wins is rarely the one with the highest projection. It's the one with the right Captain, the right correlation and enough leverage on ownership to stand apart. Showdown Edge was built to make those decisions faster and clearer.
What it does
- Loads every slate for you. NFL and NBA Showdown slates appear automatically with official DraftKings salaries and player IDs, then refresh with injuries and props through the day.
- Builds lineups under your rules. The optimizer searches every legal Captain and FLEX combination under the salary cap, then applies your locks, stacks, Captain mix and exposure limits.
- Simulates the game. Thousands of correlated simulations show how each lineup holds up in different game scripts.
- Exports to DraftKings. One click gives you an upload-ready CSV.
How we think about it
- Built for GPPs. Ceilings, correlation and ownership come first, because that is what large fields reward.
- Your call, every time. Every projection can be edited, and every rule can be changed. The tool does the math; you make the decisions.
- Straight about the numbers. Projections, simulations and ownership are model estimates for comparing lineups. They are not promises, and we will never claim they are.
