What is Showdown Edge?
A research and lineup-building tool for DraftKings Showdown contests. It loads each slate with official salaries and player IDs, builds lineups under your rules, simulates the game thousands of times and exports a file you upload to DraftKings.
Is Showdown Edge a sportsbook or contest site?
No. It's a research and lineup-building tool. We don't run contests or take wagers. You enter contests on DraftKings yourself.
What contests is it built for?
Large-field GPP tournaments, where ceiling, ownership and correlation matter most. The rules and objectives can also be set up for cash games.
Which sports are included?
NFL and NBA Showdown are live. MLB Showdown is off-season and returns for the 2027 season.
How much does it cost?
Monthly is $19.99 a month. Annual is $159.99 a year, which works out to $13.33 a month, or 4 months free compared with paying monthly. Both plans include every tool.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Both plans start with a 5-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial, and you won't be charged if you cancel before it ends. One free trial per account.
How do I cancel or switch plans?
Open your account page and click Manage subscription. You can cancel online, update your card, view invoices, or switch between monthly and annual. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Where does the data come from?
Official DraftKings salaries and player IDs, sportsbook player props for projections, and licensed sports data for injuries and box scores.
How are projections made?
Player projections are built from sportsbook player props and converted to DraftKings scoring. Ceilings, game-script projections and ownership estimates sit beside them. You can edit any projection and rebuild.
Are new slates added automatically?
Yes. NFL and NBA Showdown slates appear automatically with official DraftKings salaries, and injuries and props refresh through the day. Your edited projections are kept when data refreshes.
How do I get my lineups into DraftKings?
Download the CSV from the Export tab or the Saved tab, then upload it on DraftKings under Lineups, Upload Lineups. See CSV Export Help for the full steps.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The full app works in any modern mobile browser, on desktop, tablet and phone.
Is there a guide to help me get started?
Yes. Members get a detailed guide with screenshots covering every part of the NFL and NBA apps, from picking a slate and setting your Captain mix to running simulations and exporting lineups. It also includes a large-field GPP checklist.
Does Showdown Edge guarantee results?
No. Projections, simulations and ownership are model estimates for comparing lineups, not predictions or promises of profit. Daily fantasy contests involve risk, and past or backtest results do not predict future results.
Who can use Showdown Edge?
Adults 18 or older (or older where required) in places where paid daily fantasy sports are legal. You are responsible for following your contest operator's rules and your local laws.
